In 1882, twenty tons of Truffles (Tuber Melanosporum) were sold in Richelieu, a famous city in France's Loire Valley.
There are many kinds of Truffles, but only one is dissociated: the Tuber Melanosporum, commonly called "Black Truffle of Périgord", which is a simple botanical name which by no means prejudges its area of origin.
This exceptional Truffle is the only one used for our Truffes & Co. products.
